CARDIGAN WITH A PATTERN OF "BRAIDS"

This comfortable classic cardigan in the spring and autumn can be worn instead of a coat - the length of the model allows you to do this.

SIZE 
38–42 

YOU WILL BE NEEDED 
Yarn (100% natural wool; 80 m / 50 g) - 1200 g color. rust; Knitting needles № 4,5; circular needles № 4,5; 4 color buttons old silver.



PATTERNS AND 

SCHEMES GUM 
Knit on an odd number of loops, start and finish each row 1 edge. 

Facial row: alternately 1 purl, 1 facial, finish 1 purl; 
purl row: knit loops on the picture. 

Openwork pattern with "Kosami" 
The number of loops first is a multiple of 24 + 14 + 2 edging. After the 3rd row, the number of loops is a multiple of 26 + 14 + 2 edge. 

Knit acc. pattern. On it are given facial rows. In the purl rows, knit the loops according to the pattern, knit the naquids with the purl. 

Start with 1 edge, repeat continuously, finish loops to the arrow A and 1 edge. 

Run 1 of the 1st–38th rows, then repeat the 5–38th rows.


KNITTING DENSITY 
21.5 p. X 25.5 r. = 10 x 10 cm.

PERFORMING THE WORK OF THE 

BACK 
Dial 111 loops on the spokes and tie a 11 cm elastic band for the strap, while adding 1 p. = 112 p. In the last back row. 

Continue the openwork pattern with “braids”. After the 3rd row on the needles will be 120 loops. 

After 46.5 cm = 118 rows from the bar close for armholes on both sides 1 x 7 p. = 106 p. 

After 65 cm = 166 rows from the bar close all loops, with the fore 40 p. Form a mouth, external 33 p. - shoulders. 

LEFT SHELF 
Dial a 51 stitches on the spokes and tie a 11 cm rubber band for the slat, at the same time start and finish 1 face.

Continue the openwork pattern with "braids", at the same time start with 1 edge and loops from arrow B, repeat 1 time, finish loops to arrow A and 1 edge. After the 3rd row, 55 loops will remain on the needles. 

Arm right along the back edge, as on the back = 48 p. 

Close 57.5 cm = 146 rows from the slat to close for the neck on the left edge 1 x 4 p., Then in each 2nd row 1 x 3 p., 1 x 2 n. And 6 x 1 n. 

At the height of the backrest, close the remaining 33 shoulder loops. 

RIGHT SHELF 
Knit in the same way as the left shelf, but in a mirror image, while distributing the openwork pattern with "braids" as follows: start with 1 edge, repeat 2 times, end with a loop after rapport and 1 edge. 

SLEEVES
Dial on the spokes to each sleeve to 63 loops and tie bar as on the back, at the same time in the last purl row to add. 1 pt = 64 n. 

Continue openwork pattern "spits" at the same time to start with 1 edge, perform rapport 2 times, finish loops to arrow A and 1 edge. After the 3rd row, 68 loops will remain on the needles. 

Add for bevel sleeves 25 cm = 64 rows from the strip on both sides 1 x 1 p., Then in every 6th row 5 x 1 p. Acc. pattern = 80 p. 

After 40 cm = 102 rows from the plank, close all the loops. 

ASSEMBLY 
Run shoulder seams. 

For the strap dial on the circular knitting needles along the edge of the neckline 79 loops and knit with an elastic band, at the same time start and finish 1 face. With a width of 3 cm, close all hinges according to the pattern.

For the fastener slats, dial around the sides of the shelves, including the short sides of the slats, 175 loops each and knit with pattern 1, while also starting and finishing with 1 face. With a width of 8 cm, close all loops. 

Sew the sleeves, complete the side seams and the seams of the sleeves. 

Sew buttons to the front and back of the fastener tabs. Sew the first button 2 cm below the top edge, the other 3 - at intervals of 12 cm.
